It’s been almost a year since Missouri’s casino industry was shut down by the government, and the loss of business has been hard on the state’s economy. While casino employees were given temporary relief, the impact on the state’s economy and industry remains severe.
While the government shutdown has been the biggest impact on the industry, it’s not the only thing that’s been hurting revenue. The casino has been adding to its debt, which is now $10 billion. If this keeps up, Missouris will be the poorest state in the union in 2016, according to the Brookings Institution.
I’d say that the casinos are one of the most important things that the states are losing because of the shutdown. Its not just the casinos, its everything in the state, everything from small businesses to a university to a hospital. There are also the casinos that are now owned by foreign companies due to the shutdown.
The shutdown is hurting, but it’s not the only thing that’s hurting. One of our biggest national issues is that we’ve lost the ability to get our hands on the funds that would be needed for our infrastructure projects in the state. We’ve also lost the ability to get the money to pay for our own education, health, and tourism projects. Of course this is all happening right now. Hopefully we can start to get some cash back that we used to spend when the shutdown was on.
The shutdown is definitely causing some headaches. And at least from a business perspective, the loss of revenue for small business is bad. But is the shutdown really as bad as the press might make it seem like it is? You can’t really make that kind of claim about a shutdown. Not unless you are in a position of authority and have the ability to influence the process, which means you can only speculate about the amount of money that will be lost.
The shutdown was supposed to take place from 5pm to midnight on sunday. But when you look at the numbers it was actually closer to 1am on sunday. And the reason for this is that the shuttering of the casino was supposed to take place Monday, but the shutdown was delayed. And when it was delayed it was supposed to take place on sunday, but the shutdown was on wednesday.
We want you to know that the entire casino scene was completely shut down for the reason that the player was able to play for some reason while the casino was in full swing.
So not only did the casino shut down on sunday, but the shutdown was on sunday, so that means the entire weekend was lost, and no players were able to play. That’s bad news for the casinos, but the casinos were really just hoping to get more customers and make more money. So we want to thank the players for making the shutdown happen and we’re going to keep you updated on what will happen.
For the time being, I hope the people in this thread can at least agree that we’re going to have a good time, and that the game’s good.
I’m not sure how the shutdown affected the casinos. The big ones that made the money and the casinos that never made money will probably both be fine. But, it shows a general lack of respect for the players.
